Just a point...he might actually USE his truck.   Its not like you can actually haul anything in a prius.  Hell, you can't even put kids in the back of a Prius...

The massive tool box in the bed gives away the fact that he probably uses it.  Oh and FYI - my little mini-van with a little v6 costs $93  to fill up. Since its a work truck, it probably costs closer to $150- $200.

Who cares WHERE it was taken.  People need to travel for any number of reasons.  Work, vacation (still cheaper than flying), death in the family.  

There are a ton of farms, ranches and plantations in Florida.  Not every farmer can afford to go out and drop an extra 30,000 (minimum) on a hybrid vehicle.  

Only in Obama and the far left's demented view of the world can people simply go out and "buy a new car" to get better gas mileage.  Hell, that guy can't even trade his car in!

Whats incredible is that I never mentioned a) a hybrid or b) Obama.  Save for one post oh so long ago, I havent even mentioned him.  Your assumption of the "Far Left's demented view of the world" is lacking and ridiculous.  Use something to back it up, will you?  And dont start saying that I was the one to begin the use of pejorative terms. 

I dont own a hybrid, however, should I been the driver, I sure as hell wouldnt have driven it half way across the east coast.  I would have rented a reasonable, sensible regular car, for about $30 a day, and saved more than if I had driven it that long way.

Its not my fault that he cant trade in his car.  He bought it when prices were at least $3 a gallon.  He knew that the gas mileage was around 17.  I place this purely on the owner.
